Relax & Enjoy Life's Journey...
Everyday we are bombarded with an ever-increasing responsitibilities, tasks, opportunities and goals to accomplish.. yet we dont have enough time neither energy normaly to do all on time plus perform all our tasks perfectly... and what it all ends with is... tiredness, dissapointments, depressions, stress, bad moods and above all we waste one more day of our life in struggling that ends with no results as we are over burden with our duties.. in the tension of getting our tasks and goals accomplished we forget n ignore something really important and that's to LIVE LIFE... to spend time with your loved ones, to smile, to enjoy, and to entertain n pamper yourself which I believe is really important to keep yourself happy n healthy..
Well message that I want to convey here is Life is not meant to be a struggle but a balanced and joyful journey. So better we learn to say 'NO' to additional responsibilities that are not in harmony with our aspirations and try to resolve to stay focussed on accomplishing tasks that we consider really important. Dont overwhelmed yourself and dont take burdens that you cant carry. Dont wait for better tommorow but mlive in your today happily and enjoy every moment of life gifted by God..

Message on Eid-Ul-Adha

I would like to congratulate all Muslims who have successfully performed the Hajj and wish all Muslims a happy Eid. Eid-ul-Adha, or the Feast of Sacrifice at the end of the Hajj marks the story of the Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and the immense sacrifice that he and his family were prepared to make for the sake of truth and faith. The rituals and symbolic acts contained in the Hajj are a constant reminder of the principles by which we are called on to live our lives by: faith; repentance; honesty, simplicity; equality and charity.

Today we commemorate this act of sacrifice by our own acts of sacrifice and charity to the less fortunate. I would like to commend my Muslims fellows for their contribution to assist our brothers and sisters at this difficult time.

May Allah help us to understand the actual meaning of sacrifice and accept all our deeds and the sacrifice made according to thy wish.
Aameen ya rub-ul-aalamin.

A VERY HAPPY EID-UL-ADHA TO ALL OF YOU.

Best Regards,
Samrina

Sometimes...

Sometimes we need to stop analyzing the past,
Sometimes we need to stop planning future,
Sometimes we need to stop using our brain to take decisions;
and sometimes we need to listen to our heart what it says,
Sometimes we need to stop thinking about our own self;
and sometimes we need to think about others benefit too,
Sometimes we need to let it go,
Sometimes we need to accept life as it comes to us,
Sometimes we need to forgive, forget & ignore,
Sometimes we need to smile without any reason,
Sometimes we need to give our self break from routine,
Sometimes we need to let our self free,
Sometimes we just need to go with the flow,
Sometimes we need to live as we we want...

Samrina

Message of the day..

I received this beautiful message in a forward email so here I am sharing it with all my readers as I found it worth sharing, hope you all gonna agree to this too.. so here it is:

If you go,

Go all the way till end.

If you give,

Give all that you have,

If you share,

Share all that you can.

If you love,

Love with whole of your heart.

Because-

How will you know,

What the end holds for you.

If you quit from half way through?

How will you feel the glory,

That is there in the complete surrender?

And what is the use of sharing,

If the secrets remains within you,

To make your burden heavy?

And why to hold your love back,

If there is someone who needs it?

So give all, share all, love unconditionally,

And you are sure to go right till end

To find the happiness and fulfillment..

Happiness...
Our passions, expectations, life experiences, and even our personalities all contribute to the level of happiness we experience in our lives. Some find happiness in their careers while others find ways to be happy in their marriages or other relationships or may be in any materialistic stuff like money, big house, brand new car, or anything... We all differ in terms of our priorities, values and thinking.. though sometimes we do get people on the way of life with same frequency and that I think all our good luck to have such people in our life... though hard to find.. :)
With all these above mentioned differences there is a big common reality/ fact that we all share that we all are Human beings after all.. with same basic needs.. we all cry in our pain or when we r hurt, we smile when we r happy... Similarly no one of us like to be unhappy, no one appreciate lie or injustice, non of us like to be hated, we all want respect, importance, care, sense of belonging, sense of purpose (a feeling that you are here for a purpose n u worth living) and above all we all need LOVE..
I have hardly seen anyone so far in my life saying that he/she is happy.. normally people you hear complaining.. may be its a human nature that we never get satisfy and after every achievement we start struggling and running after any other thing is life... I accept its a positive approach and keeps you active and moving in life... but besides moving ahead for our other goals we should also try to live in present and celebrate on what we have achieved already... most of us keep on regreting or complaining for what we have lost that keep us sad n depressed rather then being happy for what we have achieved...
So all I can say today is life is too short.. dont delay to enjoy your present.. dont delay to say thanks to God, your loved ones for being always there for you and making your life worth living, dont delay to say sorry if you have ever hurt anyone, dont delay to express your true feelings for anyone coz may be you never get another chance, and dont delay to smile coz you never know what life holds for you in up coming moments...
Live today with a smile.. :))
Best Regards,
Samrina

Happy Independence Day!!

Whether its good or bad but reality is that we all love the land we belong to... no matter where we go.. where we live.. where we get settled down.. our nationality.. our country's name is always attached with us.. No matter how much we are far from our mother land but when we listen anything bad about our country we do feel bad.. we do feel the pain if anyone suffers in our country or if heard of any bomb blast or any such terrible news related to our mother land.... we get excited when we see our country's team winning any match.. our lips automatically start moving to pray for our players.. we can't control our tears if our country's team have to face failure in any match.. our heart beats with some special excitement when we hear anyone around taking our country's name... we all do want to see our country's name on top of the list.. that's all natural.. that's what we call concern, passion, patriotism and Love for our land, our country...
I belong to a country that comes under the list of third world countries.. where still we are struggling to get basic necessacities like electricity, clean water, n all... we have so many other problems... for world may be Pakistan stands no where or may be known as the country of terrorism.. but still with all these cruel realities.. we do exist.. Pakistan exist.. we do love our country.. and still we are trying.. n struggling to save the name and good will of the land we belong to... We all know the fact that nothing is perfect on this planet earth... good and bad is everywhere... so I accept my land gave birth to few people who dont worth even to be called humans.. they not only ruined the name of Pakistan but religion Islam as well... but still with this cruel reallity there is another reallity as well that there are people belong to this land who are among the most successful people in the world... whether its business, sports or any other field.. so with dark side there is a brighter side of the picture too... but still we are paying cost for being... just because of the few criminals belong to this land.. whole nation is suffering for those few wicked people... non of the religion favours terrorism, non of the country's laws allows terrorism and no one on this planet want to have unnecassary fights... we all do want peace n love... whether its Pakistanis, Indians, Americans or whoever... first we all are human... we all do breathe... we all have same basic needs.. I wish we stop discriminating.. we stop doing stereo typing... and stop judging and pointing out others rather try to help each other to improve n be better... rather then fighting for our country we should fight agaisnt people against world, humanity and people who are responsible for terrorism in this world..
Love for all..

Samrina

The Real Essence...
Success eludes many people because they define it too narrowly. They see it only in superficial terms of money, or fame, or power, and completely miss real essence of success.
If you strive solely for material wealth, or influence, or the praise of others, then you are merely pursuing the empty shell of success, without ever attaining success itself. Such an approach rarely ever works, and even when it does it quickly crumbles.
Real success comes from adding value to the world in your own special way. And every day presents you with an abundance of opportunities for doing that. Today is no exception. This very day, you can be a successful as the world's most widely acclaimed billionaire, simply by using what you have, to do what you can.
Success is found in directing your life towards a meaninggful purpose. No amount of money, or power, or fame can ever equal that.

F A M I L Y
I ran into a stranger as he passed by, "Oh excuse me please" was my reply.
He said, "Please excuse me too; I wasn't watching for you."
We were very polite, this stranger and I.
We went on our way and we said goodbye.
But at home a different story is told, How we treat our loved ones, young and old.
Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down. "Move out of the way," I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken. I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.
While I lay awake in bed, God's still small voice came to me and said,
"While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse. Go and look on the kitchen floor, You'll find some flowers there by the door. Those are the flowers he brought for you. He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue. He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise, you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."
By this time, I felt very small, And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed; "Wake up, little one, wake up,"
I said. "Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree. I picked 'em because they're pretty like you. I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."
I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today; I shouldn't have yelled at you that way."
He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay. I love you anyway."
I said, "Son, I love you too, and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."
I received this thought provoking short story through a forward email and found it worth sharing so here i posted it for all my readers. Today I see most of us are busy in our life in achieving our goals, our education, our jobs and all.. ignoring our families.. but we never think that if we died tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives. And come to think of it, we pour ourselves more into work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think? So what is behind the story???
Just give it a thought today...

Samrina

God does exist...

An atheist professor of philosophy speaks to his class on the problem science has with God, The Almighty.
He asks one of his new students to stand and.....

Prof:
So you believe in God?
Student:
Absolutely, sir.
Prof:
Is God good?

Student:
Sure..
Prof:
Is God all-powerful?
Student:
Yes.

Prof:
My brother died of cancer even though he prayed to God to heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But God didn't. How is this God good then? Hmm?
(Student is silent.)
Prof:
You can't answer, can you? Let's start again, young fella. Is God good?
Student:
Yes.
Prof:
Is Satan good?
Student:
No.

Prof:
Where does Satan come from?
Student:
From....God....
Prof:
That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this world?
Student:
Yes.
Prof:
Evil is everywhere, isn't it? And God did make everything. Correct?
Student:
Yes.
Prof:
So who created evil?
(Student does not answer.)
Prof:
Is there sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness? All these terrible things exist in the world, don't they?
Student:
Yes, sir.
Prof:
So, who created them?
(Student has no answer.)
Prof:
Science says you have 5 senses you use to identify and observe the world around you.
Tell me, son...Have you ever
seen God?
Student:
No, sir.
Prof:
Tell us if you have ever heard your God?
Student:
No, sir.
Prof:
Have you ever felt your God, tasted your God, smelt your God? Have you ever had any sensory perception of God for that matter?
Student:
No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Prof:
Yet you still believe in Him?
Student:
Yes.
Prof:
According to empirical, testable, demonstrable protocol, science says your GOD doesn't exist.
What do you say to that, son?
Student:
Nothing. I only have my faith.
Prof:
Yes. Faith. And that is the problem science has.
Student:
Professor, is there such a thing as heat?
Prof:
Yes.
Student:
And is there such a thing as cold?
Prof:
Yes.
Student:
No sir. There isn't.
(The lecture theatre becomes very quiet with this turn of events.)
Student:
Sir, you can have lots of heat, even more heat, superheat, mega heat, white heat, a little heat or no heat.

But we don't have anything called cold. We can hit 458 degrees below zero which is no heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as cold . Cold is only a word we use to describe the absence of heat . We cannot measure cold. Heat is energy . Cold is not the opposite of heat, sir, just the absence of it .(There is pin-drop silence in the lecture theatre.)
Student:
What about darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as darkness?
Prof:
Yes. What is night if there isn't darkness?
Student :
You're wrong again, sir. Darkness is the absence of something. You can have low light, normal light, bright
light, flashing light....But if
you have no light constantly, you have nothing and it's called darkness, isn't it? In
reality, darkness isn't. If it were you would be able to make
darkness darker, wouldn't you?
Prof:
So what is the point you are making, young man?
Student:
Sir, my point is your philosophical premise is flawed.
Prof:
Flawed? Can you explain how?
Student:
Sir, you are working on the premise of duality. You argue there is life and then there is death, a good God and a bad God. You are viewing the concept of God as something finite, something we can measure. Sir, science can't even explain a thought. It uses electricity and magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.To view death as the opposite of life is to be ignorant of the fact that death cannot exist as a substantive thing. Death is not the opposite of life: just the absence of it.
Now tell me, Professor.Do you teach your students that they evolved from a monkey?
Prof:
If you are referring to the natural evolutionary process, yes, of course, I do.
Student:
Have you ever observed evolution with your own eyes, sir?
(The Professor shakes his head with a smile, beginning to realize where the argument is going.)
Student:
Since no one has ever observed the process of evolution at work and cannot even prove that this process is an on-going endeavor, are you not teaching your opinion, sir? Are you not a scientist but a preacher? (The class is in uproar.)
Student:
Is there anyone in the class who has ever seen the Professor's brain?
(The class breaks out into laughter.)
Student:
Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's brain, felt it, touched or smelt it? No one appears to have done so. So, according to the established rules of empirical, stable, demonstrable protocol, science says that you have no brain, sir.

With all due respect, sir, how do we then trust your lectures, sir?
(The room is silent. The professor stares at the student, his face unfathomable.)
Prof:
I guess you'll have to take them on faith, son.
Student:
That is it sir.... The link between man & god is FAITH . That is all that keeps things moving & alive.

I have received this as a forward e-mail and found it worth sharing so I have posted it here at my blog and I do hope you have enjoyed the conversation too...this is a true story, and the student was APJ Abdul Kalam, the former President of India.

Best Regards,

Samrina

Humble Pie...
Fill me full of humility,
Help to keep me in my place.
So that all those who meet me,
See an ordinary face.
Help me search for the wisdom,
Important for survival...
Then show me how to share that,
Like some unique revival.
Help me find the understanding,
For people who are different...
Remind me that their thoughts and words,
Are worthy and coherent.
Teach me kindness for all others,
Accept they have a place..
Regardless of their origin,
Fret not about their race.
Keep me firmly connected,
With my neighbour, each new friend..
Feed me lots of humble pie,
Satisfy me till the end.
Give me the foresight that I need,
So that I recognize..
Good people aren't restricted to,
A color, shape or size.

Mind your own Business ....

Most of us create our own problems by interfering too often in others' affairs. We do so because somehow we have convinced ourselves that our way is the best way, our logic is the perfect logic and those who do not conform to our thinking must be criticized and steered to the right direction, our direction. This thinking denies the existence of individuality and consequently the existence of God. God has created each one of us in a unique way. No two humans beings can think or act in the same way. All men or women act the way they do because God within them prompts them that way. There is God to look after everything then why we are bothered?? Why we try to be God?? Yes we should guide or share our opinion but when required... One should mind his/her own business and keep Peace... :))

Find your Joy in Ordinary Moments....

Life does not have to be glamorous
or spectacular in order
to be filled with richness...
The very best moments are,
more often than not, the ordinary moments...
