A WOMAN….
(Author: Unknown)

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy
and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up against injustice.
They don't take "no" for an answer
when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without new shoes
so their children can have them.
They go to the doctor
with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel
and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear
about a birth or a new marriage.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They have sorrow at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they think
there is no strength left.

They know that a hug
and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all sizes,
in all colors and shapes.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what makes the world spin!
Women do more than just give birth.
They bring joy and hope.
They give compassion and ideals.
They give moral support to their family and friends.

Women have a lot to say and a lot to give.

CREATING PERFECT RELATIONSHIPS…

There is a saying that a perfect match can only be found between a blind wife and a deaf husband, because the blind wife cannot see the faults of the husband and the deaf husband cannot hear the nagging of the wife. Many couples are blind and deaf at the courting stage and dream of perpetual perfect relationship. Unfortunately, when the excitement of love wears off, they wake up and discover that marriage is not a bed of roses. The nightmare begins.

Few days back I got a chance to gone through this funny sort of thought provoking article according to which a person visited a government matchmaker for marriage and requested him for a help in looking for a suitable spouse. The officer asked him about the requirements and in reply he asked for a good looking, polite, humorous, sporty, knowledgeable, good in singing and dancing girl. Willing to accompany him the whole day at home during his leisure hour, if he doesn’t go out. Telling him interesting stories when he need companion for conversation and be silent when he wants to rest. The officer listened carefully and replied him with a very good answer that “I understand you need television."

Well the moral of the story is that we all wish to have someone perfect in our life ignoring the fact that no one is perfect in this world neither us nor anyone else. We keep on expecting from others without thinking that what others can expect from us and what we are doing for them. I have seen several people around who spoiled their relationships just because of stupid reasons without looking into the consequences of their decision.

To have a strong, perfect relationship both parties have to struggle, both have to compromise, both need to have patience, both have to sacrifice and understand each other. Trust, love, care and honesty are other important elements that contribute a lot in any relationship to be healthy and perfect.

But besides this being an optimistic I also believe that sweet things are easy to buy,but sweet people are difficult to find. Life ends when u stop dreaming, hope ends when u stop believing,Love ends when u stop caring, love without condition, talk without intention, give without reason and care without expectation.......

Loneliness….

Loneliness is one of the toughest things to live with, people who have to live alone can only realizes the pain and can tell how difficult it is to be alone.

Loneliness is a condition where we can only depend ourselves for any strength or mental nourishment. It is a period when we may be completely alone or, although we are with others, we may feel alienated from them and unable to share our unique experiences with any other person at that at that specific moment.

Feeling lonely sometimes is natural but this is also a fact that humans need to socialize. "We need to have a sense of belonging, we need feedback from others, recognition, and a sense that there are others who care about us, understand us, and that we matter to them." Solitude is not always bad. We have all enjoyed being alone- with nature, or music, or books. It is when we feel depression, boredom, and meaninglessness then we have to act. Prolonged loneliness can become fatal if not dealt with as it can deprive a person of his will to live on.

TRUE LOVE…

I have written already several posts on this topic and always I feel that there is still something left behind. Love is a vast topic to talk about and can be defined in so many ways as per our experiences, thoughts & observations. Whoever fell in love feels that he/she is at the peak and in true love but most of the times when they have to face any problem in the journey of love or they’re been examine they failed. True love is not mean/selfish at all, expectations is something natural but I guess when we are truly in love with someone we don’t see what we’re getting in return of our love, we just keep on loving and caring that person no matter how he/she is responding us. True love is sacrifice, its trust, and there are no conditions in true love. We can like anyone on the basis of his/her good qualities that he/she holds but we love anyone without any reason, when we love someone we accept him/her along with both good and bad qualities, and we never judge our love ones. I always say love makes our life meaningful and beautiful but besides this is also a fact that love brings us pains as well that we bear happily, our both happiness and sorrows are attached/linked with that person.

Yesterday I was reading a book that was compiled of several true love stories and one of the story that truly inspired me and helped me to understand true love that I am sharing here as well. This story is basically written by a doctor and I am copying it here for you all as it is been written by him in his own words. Hope you all going to like it too. So here it is:

It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 a.m., when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am.

I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him look at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.

On exam, it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound.

While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had another doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife.

I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer' s Disease .

As we talked, I asked if she would be upset if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now.

I was surprised, and asked him, "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are? "

He smiled as he patted my hand and said, " She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life."

True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.

Life's Mirror
There are loyal hearts, there are spirits brave,
There are souls that are pure and true,
Then give the world the best you have,
And the best will come back to you.

Give love, and love to your life will flow,
A strength in your utmost need,
Have faith, and a score of hearts will show
Their faith in your word and deed.

Give truth, and your gift will be paid in kind;
And honor will honor meet;
And a smile that is sweet will surely find
A smile that is just as sweet.

Give pity and sorrow to those who mourn,
You will gather in flowers again
The scattered seeds from your thoughts out borne,
Though the sowing seemed but vain.

For life is the mirror of king and slave,
This just what we are and do;

3 BASIC THINGS IN LIFE…

In my view there are basically three main things around which one’s life revolves, that hold most importance in our life, which directs our life styles, that reflects from our habits & our routine. According to me these three things could be:

  • Religion
  • Relationships
  • Career/work

Religion plays a guidance role in our life that guide us how to live life, how to deal with our problems and routine matters, who to ask for help & whom to pray, and much more. So we can say that to an extend our religious teachings are reflected from the way we carry our life and things related to it.

Second comes are our relationships that make our life meaningful and beautiful. Love, care, respect, trust, our emotions, & feelings all are attached with them. This is a fact that no one can live happily in isolation, we all need each other. Our happiness is incomplete and meaningless unless we have someone to celebrate with us and similarly in pain or during our depressions we need someone for care, for sympathy, for love, etc. These are all things that are human needs and no one can deny it. These relationships are the real beauty of our life. I always use to believe in these golden words ‘money cannot buy you happiness’, so very true because our feelings whether happiness or sorrows are linked with our relationships.

Third thing that holds importance in our life is our work, our career, or our job. This is also one of the most important elements of life as it is the source that defines goal for your life, make you effort, brings you internal satisfaction, provides us financial support to fulfill our and our love ones needs, reflects from your life style, and much more.

I don’t know to what extend I am successful in writing all this infect I believe still I lack in many things which I need to improve. May be I’ve missed various relevant points that needed to be added to the post and this is also possible that many of you don’t agree with my point of view as this is all that I have written is based on my own priorities, my thinking and few of the observations. Anyhow I will appreciate if anyone of you feel like to make any correction or add your own thoughts.

Regards,

Samrina
