UN NEEDED WAR......!
So many dead so many more hurt
Bodies of children lie in the dirt
Hospitals full of crying and fear
Listening to more bombs falling near
Blood on the hands of all in this war
Tears in the heavens, "what's it all for?”
All for one man, a murderous one
For him alone this carnage begun
Had to be another way to stop atan's whore
Instead of the thousands to die in a war
The devil was caught, but the sadness remains
Was the death of so many, worth the gain?
The scars of this terror will never fade
And it’s the living that ultimate will pay
Husbands, wives, children all gone
In a horror most of the world thought wrong

My heart broke the day we watched 3,200 of our citizens die in explosions. Then 300 more brave men buried alive trying to get people out of the buildings before they collapsed. There were many children there on school trips to see the towers and get a view of the city. The sight of those towers burning, terrified people jumping to their deaths to avoid the flames... haunts me to this day. My heart breaks every day to hear the news of more deaths in the Middle East. The pictures of mourners weeping. (I cry at this very moment) So much death and destruction- this was NEVER meant to be. On news, I saw a story about a 3 yr. old Afghan girl whose parents were killed by a rocket-propelled grenade. She was seriously injured. US soldiers pulled her out of the burning vehicle and were tending her. She died right in their arms as they tried to save her. Such a lovely child, even the soldiers cried. I wrote a song about her. It is too Much to bear! Peace be upon you, my friend...
